this tastes like my semester abroad
today at the study abroad orientation i was there as part of the panel of experts to impart some our infinite knowledge upon the people who will be going abroad this fall
when we split into groups by country i was like “i’m so unbelievably jealous of all of you and i want to go again”
but it was fun sharing our experiences and advice with them
i demand to be taken seriously

this one is from when my ISA group went to málaga and i met up with my french friend who was studying in málaga at the time who knows one of my friends from marching band at odu. it was weird how that worked out…
anyway she introduced me to a bunch of other students in her erasmus program from like canada and denmark and shit and we were all speaking spanish at that party. it was one of the most fun nights i had over there.

nightlife in granada
- everything is within walking distance
- cheap alcohol
- entrance to clubs isn’t expensive
- clubs and bars close when the sun comes up
- good times
nightlife in virginia beach
- need a car
- need a DD
- have to pay for parking
- wasting gas
- expensive as fuck to get into clubs
- alcohol is expensive as fuck
- everything closes at 2
- not good times
i know the circumstances are different and this is probably a “the grass is always greener” situation but this is garbage
the general idea of this is to stay in because going out sucks
8 hour flight to madrid…let’s do this shiiiit
hmmmm i posted this exactly one year ago
hooooly shit i was freakin’ out
so i left for spain one year ago today…weird. time sure flies.
